The power of a hug
The beauty of living in the right place truly shines through moments of connection. Today, after several attempts to put my little one to sleep, I decided to step outside for some fresh air. Just outside my front gate, I noticed a neighbor who had just parked her car and was unloading her belongings. She saw me struggling to soothe my tired child, and as I tried to explain that he needed a nap, she set her things aside and walked over to give me a big hug 🤗❤️ She told me I was doing a fantastic job, that I was a great mom. It was such a simple gesture from someone I barely knew—someone I’ve only exchanged polite hellos with in passing. But that “small thing” made a huge difference in my day. Even though I still had to go back inside to settle my son, her kindness left me feeling lighter and more supported.
